A Beautiful Day

Synopsis:
Camilla is sitting at her desk and writing in her diary about the things that happened during the day. A light comes through the window and is projected onto the floor, where shadows come to life. Through a voice over, the little girl explains the events in a naive and childlike way, while through the shadows we discover what really happened.

Director Statement:
A child victim of violence talks about her day by writing on his diary. Our project "Una bella giornata" aims to raise awareness about child violence for both adults and children. We aim to shed light on different forms of abuse and emphasize the consequences through the eyes of children, using a language that is relatable to them.
