The film portrays the brutalist adult education center in the 20th district of Vienna and its protagonists. The film addresses the social significance and use of the VHS (Volkshochschule), as well as its architecture. As the building dates back to the time of Red Vienna, socialistic ideas have been incorporated into the architecture. The building will soon be demolished and replaced by a skyscraper for capitalistic purposes.
