Synopsis:
After struggling with her body image, Julia begins to take an experimental weight loss drug, which has one side effect- the desire to eat inedible objects.

Director Statement:
Five a Day explores insecurities forced upon young people who are exposed to an overwhelming amount of harmful social media and content. The protagonist struggles with her image and self-worth, which is damaged by the media she consumes. The film also explores the issue of addiction and drugs, showing how young people can quickly fall into downward spirals. This short raises awareness for a variety of social issues young people face, all over the world.
