Synopsis:
Jaron's long-suppressed childhood trauma is resurfacing after years. His strategy of escape no longer seems to work. He finds himself confronted by his 8-year-old self, which keeps appearing to him. - a visual journey through the present, the past, the subconscious, and the approach with the inner child.

Director Statement:
The short film Metamorphosis tackles the sensitive issue of mental health by portraying Jaron's struggle with his childhood trauma caused by sexual abuse. In a society where this topic remains taboo, the film aims to break the silence and raise awareness of the profound impact trauma can have on an individual's life. Through emotional storytelling, Metamorphosis shows the character taking the first step in the healing process and confronting the trauma.
