Synopsis:
Michelle films her daily life after having recognized herself as a trans person and unlocks childhood's memories when watching videos of her as a child. With the support of her Ballroom ́s chosen mother, Vix, Michelle prepares herself to compete in the Hands Performance category at the next big upcoming event.

Director Statement:
"Michelle" shows how important it is for queer people, especially trans people, to be surrounded by LGBTIQ+ communities in order to feel safe and empowered to be themselves and/or become who they´ve always been. It also demonstrates the self awareness that a trans/queer kid can have regarding their identity, and makes you think how powerful it would be for those kids to feel embraced when showing and exploring who they are.
