Mother Dove

Directed by Dumitru Malai
This film tells of the experience of being foreign. The main character, Mother Dove, explores the surroundings of Suleymania in northern Iraq and immerses herself in the conflict-ridden history of this area. It is also a reflection on religion, art and conflict, which seem to be interconnected. The film was shot with a Nokia mobile phone and partly animated.
