Synopsis:
This short film follows climate activists in the UK as they engage in civil disobedience in the wake of the Public Order Act. Since the act was passed in 2023, it has been used to dramatically restrict protest rights in the United Kingdom. This short documentary highlights the courage and dedication of these activists who risk everything by putting their bodies on the line in an act of defiance.

Director Statement:
This film presents the nature of the environment in which climate activists operate in the United Kingdom. When the "State" should be responsible for protecting its population, it is the "State" which is now criminalising activists as they fight for their future. The public order act of 2023 is just one example of the concerning trend of criminalising protest which is sweeping through Europe at the moment.
