Synopsis:
Decided to leave his hometown, a young man gets on his car, ready even to neglect the uncertainties that oppress him. The journey that awaits him, however, gives him the opportunity to look back, one last time, before each road turns into a farewell.

Director Statement:
"what remains of nothing" wants to focus on the living conditions of young people in the modern world, that seems to have stopped caring for them. The escape to an unknown place becomes an opportunity for a wider reflection on the theme, in which the questions win over the answers. In the time of loss and uncertainty, nothing is all that remains to build a life that can be called ours. A life that doesn't tell the story of a generation excluded from all and every certainty and trust towards the future. A life where, perhaps, dreams still have a home and there are no goodbye hugs.
