Manuel Macadamia
Manuel Macadamia has participated in numerous exhibitions with the project "Sunset AI World," an anthology project that combines art, artificial intelligence, and web3 technologies to raise public awareness about the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
In 2024, the episode "Sunset AI World: 2121," which explores the language of immersive gaming, was created in collaboration and presented at the MEET Digital Culture Center in Milan. In the same year, the episode "Sunset AI World: 2084" was presented at the Parma 360 Festival of Contemporary Creativity, as part of the collective exhibition "L'opera d'Arte nell'epoca dell'AI." Another work from 2024 is "Infinite Visioni," an installation created in collaboration with the artist Giuseppe Ragazzini for the 2024 edition of AI Week, exploring the creative possibilities offered by artificial intelligence.
In 2023, some artwork from the episode "Sunset AI World: 2030" was selected for exhibitions such as "Artefici del Nostro Tempo" and "Viral Human – Arte Pubblica e Metaverso," and was also shown at the PerformIA and Duemila30 festivals. Additionally, Manuel participated in the project "COMMON CLOUD," developed by Ariella Vidach AiEP and MEET Digital Culture Center.
In 2022, Manuel directed the animated short film "Doorbell," presented at the Festival della Filosofia in Modena, which explores the theme of domestic violence with particular attention to its effect on children.
Among his significant performances is "Requiem for a Hero" from 2020, winner of the “TerrArte” grant, which explores the concept of everyday heroism through a narrative that mixes the world of comics with real-life stories.
