Director Statement:
This short film can be interpreted in a number of ways. First it can be about the search for the inner child, but can also be a story about someone who has lost their child or someone who has taken the active choice to follow through with abortion. With no words, the film is about searching about something that is lost and about the search to find this. The question as well as the film title "Can't you hear me?" is a question that sums up this theme. Can we get back to people we once were? This is the social impact topic. Another social impact is within the sustainability of making this film. In making of this movie, no resources have been bought. Everything is reused and will be used in the future to come.
