An Odd Friendship

Directed by Alexandros Verroios

Synopsis:
Christine is a young girl with family problems that wants to kill herself. However, her point of view starts to change after a meeting with an "odd friend" of hers.

Director Statement:
The issue this film deals with is suicidal thoughts, the feeling of losing a loved one and how it can affect us, through the eyes of a child. The message I want to present with this film is that life matters and even if it’s hard and unfair, it’s still worth trying. I believe this film highlights many problems about a sensitive topic by addressing the issue, exploring it and giving a way that can be solved while knowing that nothing can be done if you don’t want it to be solved.
