Hold on

Directed by Gabriel Berm

Synopsis:
Years after immigrating to the United States, Matt grapples with the notion of family. A call from his sister, Callie, becomes the catalyst for a realization: he learns that family transcends borders and manifests in varied forms. The deepest connections endure physical separation, teaching Matt that what truly matters is the unbreakable bond they share, echoing louder than any distance.

Director Statement:
Matt, an immigrant in the United States, delves into the difficulties of being in a foreign land, established, and receiving news of a parent’s death in the short film. The distance can prove painful, but familial bonds can stand stronger than it.
