It talks about decolonisation, human rights, and our relationship with the planet. In September 2023, Ecuador enacted a groundbreaking law, first in the region, after enduring decades of violation by oil companies. This legislation marked the first-ever decisive step to vote out drilling projects from the Yasuni National Park in the Amazon forest, safeguarding the ancestral lands of Indigenous communities. This is an ode to people who voted for the law.
