Nicola Brucoli
Architect and cultural operator. In 2015 he founded TWM Factory where, as President and Creative Director, he coordinates the various professionals and deals with the planning of cultural contents.
In 2018 he promoted the birth of the Roma Smistamento cultural center, coordinating the crowdfunding campaign, the refunctionalization of the spaces and the subsequent artistic initiatives.
He teaches at the Pantheon Design and Technology Institute and w.Academy; he was a guest speaker for Rufa-Rome University of Fine Arts, Naba-Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, Master in Heritage Cultures of Roma Tre and for the Master in Communication of Cultural Heritage of Sapienza.
He created “Giovani Creativi”, a format for promoting emerging talent and valorising cultural heritage, for which he curated the exhibition at La Galleria Nazionale in 2018 and the exhibition at the Museo Nazionale Romano-Palazzo Massimo in 2019.
In 2020 and 2022 he curated “Riscatti di Città” at Palazzo Merulana, a multidisciplinary research project on urban regeneration in Rome. He is the author and speaker of the podcast “Roma Capita”.
Since 2022 he has been dealing with queer and gender studies through artistic projects and publications: he curated the "Ultraqueer" exhibition at Palazzo Merulana, the "Queer Pandemia" exhibition and the "Meteore Fest" exhibition at BASE Milano and Roma Smistamento.
