Director Statement:
Through this project, I wanted to send a glimmer of hope. To inspire the desire to lift one's head. Sara tells the true story of a close friend who experienced extremely difficult periods during his studies in France. In this project, I want to talk about the love for one's mother, I also wish to discuss my desire to succeed, to flourish in my practice, even though I am aware that the path remains long and vast. I want to speak and praise the multiculturalism of my university which welcomes a large number of foreign students every year. I also want to address my peers, whether foreign or French, and show them what I feel. To give comfort to those who feel alone, courage to those who have lost motivation, and to bear witness to what it is to be a foreigner to those who have not yet experienced it. I would like ALDJA to be a message of strength both for myself and for others.
